Nouveau "bretagne Circus", le magazine français de l'actualité du cirque et le magazine SONOMAG, N°378, qui consacre six grandes pages au cirque Arlette Gruss, avec un inventaire fortement détaillé du matériel son et lumière utilisé pour les créations de Gilbert Gruss.

ALBERTO ALTHOFF NEEMT CIRCUS HOLIDAY BOEK IN ONTVANGST

Alberto Althoff neemt het nieuwe boek over Circus Holiday in ontvangst. Alberto was jarenlang bij Holiday werkzaam met z'n paarden, olifanten, nijlpaard en exoten. Daarna vertrok hij naar Elfi Jacobi Althoff in Oostenrijk en vervolgens naar Sarrasani in Duitsland en Merano in Noorwegen voordat hij een eigen circus startte in Polen onder de naam Euro Circus.

MARIO MASSON BIJ CIRCUS RENAISSANCE

De prachtige tijgergroep en olifant Betty van Mario Masson is dit seizoen te bewonderen bij het Circus Renaissance van Alberto Althoff in Nederland. Op dit moment staat het circus nog een week in Dordrecht. Daarna bezoekt men o.a. Rotterdam, Zaltbommel, Pijnacker en Den Haag! Komt het zien!

FESTIVAL DE LATINA: CIRCUS EXPO !

At Latina in October the third edition of “Circus Expo”.

“Circus Expo” is the title of one of the additional events which will enrich the fourteenth edition of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” from the 18th to the 22nd of October 2012.

The immense success of past editions of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” is due not only to the quality of the shows, but also to the rich assortment of additional events that accompany the shows. Amongst these, “Circus Expo”, the exposition dedicated to Circus arts and occupied by photographers, artists, sculptors, model collectors and more, has enjoyed great success with the public, allowing a wide variety of arts with a Circus theme to be displayed to the international public. Following the success of this initiative, the production team of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina”, the production team has started working towards the third edition of “Circus Expo”, which will take place from the 18th to the 22nd of October in the Circus complex at Latina. As in past years, the object of the project is to present the many facets of Circus and live show culture as applied to art and communication to a vaster public within the cultural context of the Festival. Anyone interested in displaying their works may contact the production offices of the International Circus Festival “City of Latina” via email at HYPERLINK "mailto:segreteria@festivalcircolatina.com" segreteria@festivalcircolatina.com with their details. All applications must arrive no later than 18.30 on Friday, June 22nd 2012. Beyond the above date, applications will not be taken into consideration. In their application, all candidates must supply the following information: address, contact numbers and email, in which category they wish to display their works (photography, painting etc), how much space they will require for their display, including number and size of paintings, models etc. Participation in “Circus Expo” is free: there is no fee, and nor is there any remuneration for exhibiting works or collections. The exhibition will be set up on Wednesday, October 17th, opened to the public on Thursday, October 18th, and officially opened in the presence of authorities on Saturday, October 20th. The exhibition will close on Monday, October 22nd, coinciding with the Finale of the Festival. The production team will contact each exhibitor prior to the Festival in order to define further the logistical details relating to the project.

Propulsé sur la scène "médiatique" des grands festivals en octobre dernier au festival de Latina, voici quelques photos prises du français Emmanuel Farina en janvier dernier sous le chapiteau du cirque Royal ( famille Dell'Acqua). Actuellement en tournée en Hongrie, il est évident que l'on retrouvera ce jeune dompteur!

René Casselly Jr lors du dernier festival du cirque de Monte-Carlo. La famille réunie au grand complet sera présente lors du prochain festival du cirque du Val d'Oise, au mois de septembre 2012.

HERMAN RENZ TREKT VEEL PUBLIEK IN HEERLEN!

Nog vier plaatsen en Circus Herman Renz heeft alweer haar zomerstop. Gelukkig is de publieke belangstelling in Heerlen dit weekend zeer goed. Gaat het zien....vanavond en morgenmiddag heeft u nog de kans op het prachtige Bekkerveld in Heerlen!

DE CIRCUSBLADEN VAN DEZE WEEK.......

Deze week vielen er weer diverse circusbladen dor de brievenbus. Het Amerikaanse White Tops kwam met een editie van maar liefst 80 pagina's, het Spaanse Chapito kwam met nummer 15 uit, de Circus Zeitung kwam met het mei nummer waar het beloofde artikel over Circus Herman Renz niet in stond (misschien volgende maand?) en vandaag kwam De Piste erbovenop met prachtige reportages van Circus Sijm en Circus Renaissance. En.....in de Piste een leuk klein stukje over ons nieuwe Circus Holiday boek!

NOG WAT PLAATJES VAN EEN NIEUWE TENT.....

Hierbij nog twee foto's van vandaag. Men is al twee dagen druk bezig met de opbouw van de nieuwe Scola Teloni tent van 32 meter voor het Roemeense circus van Orlando Oprescu.
Het ziet er prachtig uit!

UNIEK ROOFDIERENNUMMER BIJ HERMAN RENZ

Tom Dieck jr. brengt dit jaar een voor Europa uniek roofdierennummer in de piste bij Circus Herman Renz. Het nummer bestaat uit tijgers, ligers en witte leeuwen, enorm grote dieren. Diverse Europese circussen hebben al interesse getoond voor deze spectaculaire act.
