2013 Photography Contest

The Federation welcomes amateur and professionals to submit photographs that best capture the 2013 contest theme:

Circus: Strength, Balance, Courage and Grace!

Participants may submit up to four photographs for the 2013 contest. Photographs may be in color or black and white.
As in past years, winning photographs will be selected through a blind judging process by an international jury of Circus historians. The overall winner will be selected personally by the Federation’s Honorary President, H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco.

The best photographs in keeping with the theme will be featured in a 2014 wall calendar, which will be made available for purchase in the fall of 2013. Only one photograph per photographer will be published in the calendar. Each photographer whose work is selected for the calendar will receive a copy of the calendar signed by H.S.H. Princess Stephanie.

The overall winner will receive:

•Two night bed and breakfast stay for two persons at the Riviera Marriott Hotel;
•Two tickets to the 38th Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo Competition Shows A and B (16 and 17 January 2014);
•A photo opportunity with H.S.H. Princess Stephanie of Monaco; and
•A 500 Euro prize (stipend for travel) presented at the Federation’s annual Welcome Reception on Thursday, 16 January 2014 in Monaco.
Contest opens on World Circus Day, 20 April 2013. All entries must be received by 15 June 2013 to be included in the contest.
